NewYorkRep is committed to developing and producing innovative new plays and musicals. We give emerging playwrights, composers, and lyricists their first fully produced AEA production. We aim to create a more conscious and compassionate community by telling stories that educate, inform, enhance, and create a public service. We look for stories that have a social, ethical and political relevance. We look for stories that hit you in the gut. We are unapologetic in our belief that theatre changes people’s lives.

Thirteen years ago I had the great privilege of working on Hamlet at the Guthrie with the 24 year old @santinofontana who just came out of the BFA program at the @guthrietheater / @universityofminnesota BFA program.
