Axtraordinaries are a sub breed of humans, who carry mutated blood that manifests as naturally occurring super abilities. This phenomenon is not unique to any race or gender, and can happen at random. Though, typically it follows family lines (ei children of Axtraordinary[ies] being an Axtraordinary themselves), it can happen to children from completely human backgrounds.
Usually Axtraordinaries keep to themselves in communities organized in secret. However, with the ever changing outside world, they may not be able to stay in their shadows anymore, leading to tensions and revelations that threaten to tear their stolen ebony peace apart.
