First off, I want to say that when I had this dream, it felt like I had been asleep for several hours. When I woke up, I had only been asleep about one hour.
The dream started off with me, my mom and at least my sister I think, being trapped with other people in an old Wal-mart because of a bad snow storm. It is summer here in Texas. Also, when I say “old Wal-mart” if you know what they used to look like back in the 90′s, you’ll kinda get what I mean, only it was empty.
I don’t know where or why things changed, but the bigger part of the dream I remember more from was a sort of theme park/ carnival attraction that was supposed to be based off the Wizard of Oz somehow. I didn’t really see it. I had also been to this place in my dream the night before, though I didn’t remember enough to write it out.
So I was in this little...rollercoaster style cart that was just kinda going around different parts of the attraction, and we start to enter this little building that had a head up at the top of the entry way. I looked up and watched his eyes flash green really quickly. I remembered hearing from the night before that when that happens, there is a performer with ballerina feet (yeah, you just see the feet) does a trick with hats. So I’m kind of excited to see what this trick is. So we get inside and the car is moving around past the stages that line the room and we get to the ballerina feet (its as weird as it sounds)
I hold up my hands to see that I suddenly have two hats in my hands. I then start to say in this weird, whisper voice that sounded like I was drunk “I don’t think these are my hands, they don’t feel like my hands. I know they’re not my hands because those aren’t my hats either.”
I then look to one hand and the hat has become a dollar bill. So I look to the other hat and its also a dollar.
Me: “Oh hey, look. I’ve got money.”
Then, I don’t know if I drop the money or if its taken or something, but the car begins to come around to this fortune teller lady in an recliner and, like a kid, I crawl out of the cart and into the chair like i used to with my grandparents and the lady asks me “ Do you want to speak with her? She’s waiting for you.”
No idea who “she” is. Instantly, everything is black for a moment. Then in my eyes, sort of like wearing a VR headset, there is a video or something playing and this typewriter font spelling out words and its telling me something that I can’t recall. It felt like a warning, but I don’t remember if I could read it or not. It doesn’t get a chance to finish as I start to feel that I am being shaken awake. I wake up to find that its not my mom, who has been with me up until now, but my sister and I am not in a room I recognize at all. Its dark and not at all welcoming. My sister looks worried as she holds onto my shoulders, asking me what happened and where we were. I start to answer, but my mouth feels weird, my brain feels kinda sluggish and its hard to talk. I ask her if she remembers the Wizard of Oz thing and somehow compared it to a situation that Sam and Dean encountered and I watch as her eyes slowly grow wide, like she remembers the park. Suddenly, this door appears out of nowhere and my sister is grabbed by something that pulls her through it, Not wanting to know what was waiting behind the door, I woke up with my mouth feeling strangely numb.
