Maybe im just crazy but I lowkey believe Noah when he said on that podcast from 2021 that Schlatt stole his online persona/humor. Let me schizo-rant real quick..😓💔
I wish I had more examples of Schlatt stealing jokes from him but one I can remember off the top of my head was in the "Lunch club goes shopping" video. Noah makes a joke about how he never takes off his fishing shirt and then right after Schlatt makes the exact same recycled joke about his Ronald Reagan shirt. (Ik its edited to look like Schlatt makes the joke first but if you pay attention Noah says it first😭)
And honestly it just makes sense to me. Overtime I feel like Schlatt became more like Noah in appearance, voice, online persona, ect. And I know Schlatt's voice is supposed to be a NY accent but even Noah has said that people call him "Rip-off Schlatt" in vcs cause of their voices being somewhat similar. And when you look at videos of Schlatt from when he was 15/16 compared to now or even 2020 it's so different. But when you compare Noah's old videos to his voice now it's almost the exact same.
Even though Noah was (and still is) thinner and shorter than Schlatt I kinda feel like Schlatt thought Noah was more masculine or "cooler" than him and that's why he tried to imitate him.
Like think about it... You have Schlatt this nerdy introverted twink loser CompSci student with not many friends who's entire online persona is just him being 'gay', overly loud (funny mic), and saying "dick and balls" over and over again... And then you have Noah who's more extroverted than him, can talk to people more easily than he can, is into more masculine things than he is, and is overall just a more masculine presenting and "normal" looking guy.
And right around the time Lunch Club ends (Around I'd say March 2020) Schlatt starts trying actually trying to become similar to Noah. He makes his voice deeper, he starts making videos shooting guns and flamethrowers, he makes drinking his entire personality, he grows out his facial hair, and overall just emulates his vibe in a way I cant quite describe. Like Idk how to explain it but there's a certain category of white guy that Noah fits into and Schlatt just wasn't that AT ALL until 2020/2021. Schlatts always been a nerdy loser kinda white guy and all of a sudden he's the exact opposite, "Normal, loves guns, grilling, and camping" kinda white guy...????
Also maybe he's talking about non-family members when he says this but Schlatt always says he copied his persona off the men he grew up around but literally all the of men in his family are soft-spoken. There's videos of his dad and uncle Pete (who he's said he was very close to) speaking and both of them are very soft spoken and have no strong NY accent.
And not the even mention Schlatt just announced a camping video with Tucker and Ted, which Noah, Cooper, and Travis did like 2 years ago.
Anyways schizo-rant over,, PLEASEEE tell me if I sound insane and stupid saying all this cause I cant tell if im right or not 😭
Also my whole "He imitated Noah cause he didn't feel masculine enough" theory has a bit more weight to it if you also believe the XXY Schlatt theory.

Noah didn’t even have that big of a presence online too (also added the fact that nobody liked his ass) so it was easier for schlatt to jack his shit. schlatt probably talks soft spoken off camera as we see clips of him talking to kalynn with that same exact tone from years ago okayyy.
