Not sure if how many would agree with me, it is such an awkward set of emotions when living in a foreign country. It's like a sense of not belonging yet looking for any remembrance of your past life. Yet once you find that one thing, it's like you don't deserve it, it's not yours, it's not your memory to claim.

I say this because that one thing that always pulls me back home, even if just with memories, is the ocean. When I'm on/in the ocean here, in this new land, I reminse. The smell. I tell stories of my grandpa's boat.

But alas I feel I don't belong, I'm not one of those descendant norsk fiskere. Just a pirate from Baha. I had a great holiday for the entirety of last week and the weather here in Norway has been amazing. Finally some sun. Reminding me of how 'on-going' our sun is back at home. The sharpness and details of life around you that the sun seem to accentuate. The water. The one thing that seem to connect us most, yet divides us in a way.

Just another set of ramblings for the day.
