i’ve already ranted a lot on twt and it’s been a good few hours since it dropped but my final word on it is this:

how does one make the initial design then make all of those sprites and say “yup! that’s a white man!” did nobody on that team think that people would assume he was black (or a poc in general)? i can’t emphasize enough just how mind boggling it is.. it feels like i’m being gaslit because we all played that game and we all saw what that man looked like and not a single pixel on his skin made me think for even a second that he was white. i didn’t stop drawing him the way i do after whark was canonized and i won’t stop after this but damn is it disheartening to see..

idk i’m just a random guy on the internet but man after tweaking out and stuff i’m just kinda bummed out about it idk… this isn’t something new that i’ve seen (in the rd fandom or in general) but it still sucks man :/
