S O L P U R O
You’ll cry because time is passing too fast, and you’ll eventually lose someone you love, so take many pictures, laugh too much and love like you’ve never been hurt because every sixty seconds you spend upset is one minute of happiness you’ll never get back.
Andy Biersack (via saviour-bvb)
A teen female football first
1. The main point of the article is to inform everyone that for the first time ever, there’s a young female football player who already made it to the largest league in the United States. The main point is being illustrated by saying, “Karlie is the first quarterback ever to win an award.” The idea develops as the article described Karlie’s past on how she started to being the “only girl” who could skillfully play. The article then argues to feminism. Explaining that people around Karlie doesn’t believe in her but Coach Bob did. Ending the article by stating Karlie is born with talent. “She was born with sneakers on,” says Karlie’s mother.
2. The organization of the article was arranged logically with small headings for the readers to understand better. The structure was perfectly order as well since the article introduced Karlie’s background, her success and ended stating her strength. Though the article was short, it was straightforward and only included the main events that the readers would only care about.
The purpose of the article is to illustrate that not only boys could join a league but a girl as well. Highlighting Karlie’s skills and strength brought her to the top. The purpose is to inspire other females as well, “A growing number of young female athletes have joined football teams.”
3. “Where did the resources come from?” – the informations written in an article should be stated to prove the readers that the facts are nothing but the truth.
“Where and when was the article published?” – the blog, newspaper or magazine is important to immediately prove that the article is reliable which consist of copy righted informations and such. The date when the article was published is also important to inform the readers whether the article is recent and updated.
4. I would say that this article is reliable. The site where the article was posted could be trusted since it’s Scholastic and the author made a good job with her research since she included quotations from the coach and Karlie’s mother as well as dates.
“In the end, we only regret the chances we didnt take.”
So vindictive, you'll say anything you like. The smile you fake, the steps you take, you know you never could get it right.
