Seeing this conversation around Twitter and wanted your opinion: Do you think there’s a difference in how Nico and Jack interact post Olympics or am I being too parasocial? (Also saw people saying there’s a “clear schism” between the Hughes and the Swiss guys because we’re at that part of the off season now.)

now! let's look at all the NicoJack moments post Olympics...
March 29th versus Chicago when Jack scored the empty net and Nico was holding onto him afterwards not letting him go down the bench for his fist bumps.
2. March 18th versus the Rags when they did this fuck me eyes thing on the bench. Nico biting his lip. Jack looking smug. boys. you're live on air.
3. March 14th versus the Kings. I've been wondering for over a month now what Jack says as he nuzzles into Nico's neck. He's whispering something! what's he whispering!
4. March 7th versus the Rags. Nico's postgame where he was talked about Jack and how his whole face transformed. The big smile on his face. He loves talking about Jack
5. April 4th versus the Montreal Canadiens. a casual candid moment on the bench.
6. Team Photo Day. whatever is going on here. Jack being bemused by Nico doing the...scuba? Nico trying to make Jack laugh. Jack trying very hard not to.

7. March 31st versus the Rags. the way they just like move around each other like its so natural. that's Jack's seat and Nico knows to move even though he doesn't look up once from the iPad.
8. all of Nico's post-Olympics media. he was asked specifically about Jack's goal and there's video of him talking about how proud he is of Jack and being happy for him. Nico also updated his blog talking about Jack
9. March 26th versus the Predators. Nico's postgame media on MSG where he says "I think we're just playing a little bit loose, a little bit more loose, a little bit more with like Jack said a little swagger" + this celly where Nico looks back at Jack and Jack tells him to go go go
see they're still NicoJacking all over the place. you just gotta put on your NicoJack glasses/contacts.
I think it was just a weird time post-Olympics where they were trying to make a push + clearly there were front office issues taking place + Fitzgerald getting fired + general emotions of disappointment/anger etc which made it seem like the love wasn't there, but the love is definitely still there.
