Anthonyās eyes swept the room for a moment as he tried to catch sight of his clothing. His search stopped at his boxers, which were within a reasonable distance, and so he quickly leaned over and snatched them up. It wasnāt long before he slipped them on and became somewhat more presentable; although he still had no idea where the rest of his clothing was. Anthony also couldnāt ignore the clear irritated look that Rileyās brother was giving him. Despite knowing who he was, and what he looked like, from pictures; he didnāt actually know his name. And it would definitely be too awkward to ask nowā¦Ā āCool, cool.ā Anthony awkwardly added as he nodded his head.Ā āOh, uhā yāknowā¦some time.ā He replied.
In a mixture of an eye roll and a desperate attempt to avert his eyes, Nic veered his attention around the room as the boy leaned down to grab his boxers. Ā While doing so, Nic noticed the litter of clothing along the floor and quickly came to regret his decision not to turn on his heel and walk immediately back out of the room. Ā Squinting slightly, he lifted his gaze back to the now partially clothed brunet. Pursing his lips at his response, he nodded slowly before sucking in a short breath; unsure he wanted this conversation to continue.Ā ā You know,Ā āĀ he began, leaning down to pick up the kidās pants. āĀ I really hope byĀ āsome time,ā you mean just within the past couple hours-- you know, accidentally, drunkenly making your way into someone elseās apartment instead of your own...Ā āĀ After a pause, he tossed the pants at him.
Riley scooted closer to him, arm to arm. āAre you okay?ā She looked at him, leaning her head on the couch. āDonāt be!ā She added as she took another hit of the blunt. Ā Ā

okay so my friend has been acting really weird lately in regards to my boyfriend
basically i met this friend and she met my boyfriend at the same time, at the beginning of high school
and they have been pretty good friends ever since
i knew the kid who is now my boyfriend for a few years before she met him
and we didnāt start dating until the end of high school
so in a way, this friend has been around for the entirety of my relationship
my friend has kind of considered my boyfriend one of her best friends
and they have a sort of brother/sister friendship
where they legitimately hate each other most of the time but are friends at the end of the day
and anyway
probably a month-ish ago
my friend has been being really weird about thisĀ ābrother/sisterā friendship that they have
like, sheās been really pressing it like,
thereās this cuban guy who is obsessed with her at her schoolĀ
and sheās kind of freaked out by him just bc he doesnāt exactly know how to approach her, i guess??
and one night, this friend was going out to the bar with a few of her friends
(mutual friends to my boyfriend)
and being an idiot, my boyfriend cracks a joke through text to one of the guys going to the bar with my friend sayingĀ ādonāt let anyone named Pedro grind on herā
later, my friend hears about this and sheās all likeĀ āomg so I told my roommates that your boyfriend was being super protecting and sweet about my first time at the bar and she thinks we should dateā
and i, being me, was likeĀ ālol im sorry wutā
and she explained this... KEEPING IN MIND THAT HE LITERALLY SAID, I rEPEAT:

and somehow he was being protective??Ā
and apparently thatās cute and despite the fact that iām dating him and have pretty much been in love with him for 7 years, ( lolZ ) my friend should be dating him instead lmao
ok, and when she said this, she was likeĀ āyeah, and i told her that itād be weird if we dated, because iāve known him for so longā
and Iām sitting here likeĀ āoh, Iām sorry... thatās the reason itād be weird if you dated my boyfriend??????ā LMFAO

THEN JUST RECENTLY
my friend goes out to a birthday dinner which I wasnāt invited to with the same friends she went to the bar with and my boyfriend
later, she tells me that my boyfriend was being all protective of her bc this other kid (whom weāve also known since the beginning of high school) was flirting with her
apparently my boyfriend, like, was āreally uncomfortable,ā and tried to sit between them, and said things likeĀ āOkaaaayĀ buddyā LOLĀ
literally while Iām having this conversation with my friend on the phone, my boyfriend calls and i switch lines and tell him that she said this
because she had already done the wholeĀ āheās being protectiveā thing before and i was laughing about it bc itās lowkey weird
and HE SAYS TO MEĀ āwtf, i literally only tried to sit between them because she told me that he was getting all in her face and she was uncomfortable with it.ā
by the time i get back on the phone with my friend, i tell her this and she goes,Ā āwell, yes AND no.... i was likeĀ ādonāt you hate when (insert name here) gets all in your face?ā and he was likeĀ āyEAH OMGā and we talked about how annoying it was for a bit and then when (insert name here) came back, he tried to keep him from sitting next to meā
later, when updating my boyfriend on this, he laughed and said that she literally told himĀ āI donāt like how close (insert name here) is getting to my face and stuff, heās making me uncomfortableāĀ
AS A SIDE NOTE, MY FRIEND IS NOW GOING ON A DATE WITH THE DUDE THAT WAS GETTING ALL IN HER FACEĀ

Anthony wasnāt sure when Riley had left the room, he wasnāt even sure when heād fallen asleep. All he knew was that she was simply gone. Possibly to the bathroom? He found himself looking through bleary eyes as he tried to get himself to full focus, heād also grown hot so one leg swung idly along the side of the bed. He jumped a bit, startled, when he heard the door open, but he grew even more terrified when he realized that it wasnāt Riley. His first instinct was to hide, although there wasnāt much time for that, and in his frenzy he ended up tangled in the sheets and halfway on the floor. After finally deciding to look over, he spotted the man he could only assume was Rileyās brother and gave a little half-wave.Ā āā¦Sup?ā
Nicolas watched uncomfortably; unable to remove his eyes from the boy, as he attempted to scramble to his feet--- or whatever that strange and embarrassing stumbling was all about. Ā When he finally made eye contact with him, Nicās eyes narrowed slightly, his brows furrowed in both confusion and an irritated knowing expression.Ā āĀ Not a lot.Ā āĀ He said dryly, scanning over him with slightly a judgemental gaze.Ā āĀ How long have you been here?------ like that?Ā āĀ He asked, gesturing to his concealed nudity. Ā However, Nic was sure he didnāt reallyĀ want to know the answer.
Heād stopped listening to what the other was saying a long while ago, but he did enjoy the passion that was put into their long-winded speech. After they finished, he said with a small laughĀ āWell, you seem to have proved me wrong. Didnāt know you liked it that much.ā
