Just reported a GP for telling me that the thoughts I've been having about harming myself for the last decade were just a "⋆˙⟡test from God₊˚⊹♡".

thinking about that one stanzi video about being sentenced to talk in your pet voiced and realizing that my bf would be stuck in French cus his cat experience is mostly in French
I was too busy vibing to some Cuarteto de Nos and fully missed my exit on the interlanguage. I had to ask my dad something and went "¿Qué লাগেন?"
For when the tea is extra hot.
me trying to apply for jobs I'm probably not qualified for
Taking the bus today, I went up and asked for a single, and the driver was like 'Okay, a child single', and without thinking I was like 'No, an adult single, sorry'.
Child tickets are for under 16s. I'm in my 20s. I can never take that bus again.
Going over Quackity lore made me wanna compare K!Quackity and C!Quackity. I don't know enough about Q!Quackity to really pull anything.
Similarities
A character desperate for belonging who eventually makes his own reach for power only to be betrayed by someone close to them.
Both characters are vengeful, and their stories are heavily shaped by the actions they take out of vengeance.
Differences
While both stories heavily feature revenge, C!Quackity's story focuses on the consequences of obsessive vengeance, while K!Quackity's story places a bit more focus on the feelings of both sides, how the conflict develops, and how it affects both K!Q and K!Luzu.
C!Quackity's actions result in consequences that harm those outside his conflicts (primarily C!Slime). K!Quackity's actions are much more direct, and the consequences only really occur to those directly involved with his actions.
The story of C!Quackity has a lot of focus on his relationship with C!Slime, his son(?) who is hurt as a consequence of C!Quackity's own actions. K!Quackity's story focuses on his relationship with K!Luzu, a love interest turned traitor.
C!Quackity finds his peace and redeems himself. K!Quackity never does, getting his memory wiped instead. Given how vengeance and its consequences are portrayed in each of their stories, this kinda makes sense.
KARMALAND 5 LORE [ENG]
Writing up a very quick summary here of the primary points of Q's lore in Karmaland for the English speakers.
K!Quackity starts off in Karmaland getting blown the fuck up multiple times. He befriends K!Luzu who warns him about not trust people. The two become very good friends and everyone on the server and their mother knows it.
Mayoral race happens, K!Quackity runs and practically everyone votes for him. However, K!Luzu somehow wins (by sabotaging the votes). Due to the events of Karmaland 4, K!Luzu believes that the power of being the Mayor will only corrupt and harm K!Quackity, so he prevents K!Quackity from becoming mayor in order to protect him.
Revolution breaks out. People take sides as everything escalates. Threats are made, buildings shut down, cousins arrested, pets turned into burgers, children killed (accidentally). K!Quackity becomes a wanted criminal, having to pose as Ronaldo in order to attend server events.
The two have their big showdown, everyone gets involved. Until eventually, Sapo Peta (aka Maximus) grabs the two of them and isolates them in a room together with some tasteful art. The two air out their grievances, K!Luzu explaining that he only wanted to protect K!Quackity, and K!Quackity expressing that he doesn't care because what K!Luzu robbed him of and the harm that he caused was just not fucking worth it.
Realising that the two were never going to work it out, Sapo Peta erases their memories of each other and the server returns to peace. It is implied that, had the Karmaland Finale Christmas party not been interrupted, the two would have hooked up later that night.
Tried to do curved text in Krita. Failed to do curved text in Krita. Gods help me.
Tried to do a bunch of complicated stuff and none of it worked so I gave up and did something simple.
For anyone who needs it.
Looking back on Q!ElQuackity, it was really hard for me to take him seriously or care about him as someone meaningful. It genuinely feels like he has such little impact on the story sometimes.
It seems clear to me why when I compare him to D!Quackity of Las Nevadas and K!Quackity of Karmaland. Both of these characters had interesting relations with other characters (especially their nemeses), had very strong clear motivations, and were plausibly threatening.
Q!ElQuackity doesn't really have that? He didn't really interact with other characters enough to form interesting relations. We never really knew what he was doing, except that it was probably against the feds. And he was almost never a realistic threat.
In the election arc, everyone discussed the idea of killing Q!ElQuackity. No one talked about if anyone could, only if anyone would, to which the answer was 'of fucking course'. His campaign was also weak, as he was completely untrustworthy, and largely unpopular. When he kidnapped Dapper, a lot of people felt that they had to suspend their disbelief a little too much as to whether Q!ElQuackity could actually do something like that. During purgatory, Q!ElQuackity was tasked with causing problems. Was there any plausible way for him to do that? How much did he really do?
It just never felt like Q!ElQuackity was capable of actually being a threat. No one trusted him with information, and he wasn't capable of doing anything without some unknown external force involved that magically led to him having done something important like kidnapping someone. Even if he did do something, we're never clear on why. So if his motivations and actions don't do much, what else is there to him?
His relations with other characters aren't that interesting either. With K!Quackity and D!Quackity, we were all waiting for the big moment of confrontation between Quackity and his nemesis, in which the choices that Quackity had made leading up to that point would all be put into question. It was interesting to see other characters bring up the dynamic Quackity had with his nemesis, and ask him whether he was making the right choices. Do I care about the feds interacting with Q!ElQuackity? I find it highly unlikely that there would be any meaningful development from that other than the backstory of what exactly the feds did to him, which wouldn't add a lot. We already know it's going to be fucked up and the feds will justify it as being for some greater good. Would the specifics of what they did matter that much?
TLDR: Q!ElQuackity was hard for me to care about because it never felt like he could plausibly do anything meaningful, I never really knew why he did the things he did, and he didn't have interesting relations with anyone except Q!Quackity. I imagine a lot of this was just due to time constraints, and if he was able to spend more time on the server, the character probably would have been way more interesting. But yeah, just my take. I imagine other people were able to read into the character way more and got a lot more out of it. Just not really for me.
French videogame discourse is so wild to read as an anglo cus they sometimes have this thing where they use English terms for the videogame version of things, even if they have a perfectly good word for it in French. For example, a legitimate comment I saw on a video: "Le meilleur conseil pour éviter de perdre trop de temps c'est ne pas trop die." "The best tip to prevent losing too much time is to not die too many times."
Like, 'mourir' is right there.
God compels people to do linguistics.
This isn't even a joke, it's genuinely kinda true.
Sanskrit, the language of the Hindu texts, having its alphabet mapped based on phonetic articulation and giving us the term "tonal sandhi". Arabic and Sanskrit grammarians casually doing phonology to ensure the pronunciation of their sacred texts get preserved. And dear lord Christianity be out here documenting, preserving and translating languages like it's god's work because it literally is.
God compels you to do linguistics.
This is targeted towards religion but applies elsewhere. If you're willing to dedicate your entire life to something and let it dictate everything you do, then your answer to questions has to be something, literally anything, more than "You need to talk to an expert.".
What do you mean you don't know about the thing you're literally devoting your entire life to? You tell me God is forgiving but Hell is eternal? God gives people a second chance but also if you didn't believe in god from the get-go, God makes it impossible to do so thus condemning you to eternal hellfire?
At the very least, if you realise you don't know something kinda important, go find out about it. You're staking your entire life on something described by a book that you didn't understand the second page of.
Why is it that every time I see Pierre, he's got some kind of world ending thing on him? Like, dude started off with a bf with a nuke up the ass and decided that he wanted to be the one with world ending tech up the ass.
