I finally finished Friendly Space Ninja's video on Stranger Things finale.
Season one was in my opinion really good and was the only reason I binged up to season three and watched season four while it was airing. I was neck deep into ronance and even wrote some fics.
Some where between four and five I feel out of love with the show. I don't remember what the catalyst was but it lead to me never watching season five and in hindsight it was for the best. (If I had a nickel for rvery time a show had such a bad finale that fans theoriesed a secret good episode, I had two nickles which isn't a lot but it's weird it happened twice).
Now I'm here thinking (and a little drunk) if I should rewatch the first four seasons and give ronance a second chance? It used to give me so much joy but I'm not sure if it's worth the effort.

Imagine Grace defined his name as the elegance definition of grace and Rocky spends years thinking how fucking ironic this clumsy leaky space blobs name is.
Until Grace slips out a sentence along the lines of "could you give me a little grace here" and Rocky immediately points out he used a word wrong so Grace has to explain that yeah, grace means elegance but it can also mean mercy sometimes too.
And Rocky has to suddenly reconcile that the clumsy leaky blob that saved his life twice, that almost certainly doomed himself to come back for him, name is Mercy.
alright might as well share my opinion on the tadc ending.
I liked it. It had some good moments and the animation was beautiful (especially compared to the pilot) but it also had some issues that really bothering me.
Episode 9 should have been at least three separate episodes. It really felt rushed because they just stuffed so much stuff into it and some things didn't really get enough time. Like Caines part felt really short or the part at the beginning where they are trying to settle in their new situation.
Also nine episodes was in my opinion too short for this show and I really wished we had some filler episodes in between. Just to give the characters and the relationships a little more time.
But hey, this was the perfect ending in case they ever wanted to do another season or more stand alone adventures.
(also it's funny to me that now the most popular ship turned from het to doomed yuri)
