First of all, I have seen multiple colors of vines, are those different species which live in harmony or is it just color variation within one species?

Along with that, I have seen multiple vines with either thorns or mushroom-like protrusions. While the thorns can be explained away as a defense mechanism, I cannot figure out what the purpose of the mushrooms are and how they manage to stay on the vines while they move.

That leads to my next question: how do the vines move? Ordinary plants cannot move like that, so that leads me to believe that they are magical in some way but I have never seen magic such as this.

Another thing with the mushrooms: what kind of mushroom are they? I know that you have made tea out of these vines before and it is frankly impossible that the tea didn't at least contain trace amounts of the mushrooms.

Now focusing more on the magical side of things: how can you block Hastur's influence? While there are rituals to block Him, they always leave traces and I cannot detect any such thing around you.

If this ability of yours is truly unique, I want to see if it could be strengthened to cover more land.

...Wait, now that I think about it, where do you and the vines get water from?

It almost never rains in the Dreamlands and organisms of that size requires quite a lot of water.

Is that how you can resist Him? All the water you can find here has been contaminated by Hastur, so it could be that you and the vines have built up a resistance to His magic.

This certainly requires more research.

uhm so. the story is like.

avery gets sold dereks old laptop at a yard sale and fucks about on the world then leaves it for a while and then he goes back and turns left at the crossroads and then it goes downhill from there

he gets infinite knowledge beamed (and not derek, bc like. avery turned let at the crossroads first i think)

then the king lwk possesses him (but he cant actually do a lot bc the vessel is human and so he cant rlly do his king magic so this was. a dumb idea. kinda.)

but like a part of the king is in avery's head now which is fun

then slimeknight happens and the people rejoice lets go the yaoi wins theyre dating now WAHOOOOOOOOOO

but then they argue and avery lwk tries to end it bc he thinks derek hates him or smth idk i forgot the contents of the arguement

and then after avery comes out of the hopital and is okidoki the bullshit piss king in his head tells him "bro got to the church cme to carcosa its chill here TRUSTTTT" so he pulls up to the church and gets the bg amnesia and forgets everything before he stepped into the church and so he got to work yk doing the church tending and stuff and then derek n the gng pull up to save him and then derek breaks his leg and they have to regroup n restrategize ykyk

while all this is happening the king is panicking a little like "oh fuckt hey cant get to avery nonononononononononononononononon" so he pulls up and takes him to the cathedral where hes sure they wont get him but they do get him and then they try to run away from him but the king catches up ad heres what i call "the great fumble"

so the king gets derek and derek gets a bite-sized infinite knowledge blast and the king lwk fumbles here bc he chooses. to monologue. and then lucid (someone super cool oc) gets his ass with vines and then they escape from a portal that nereis (another supoer cool oc that someone has that used to be in the kiy cult) made and then uhhh were here :3
