What its like dating Dick Grayson

-Him being very affectionate. He loves to give forehead kisses, neck kisses, kisses on the cheek and his favorite is kisses on the nose because he loves the way you scrunch up your nose afterwards.

-Him carrying you to bed from the couch when you fall asleep after binge watching ‘How I Met Your Mother’.

-You love his long hair very much and can’t help running your hand through it. Whenever you do, he seizes your hand and kisses it very gently.

-Him calling you ‘babe’ or ‘sweetie’.

-A lot of hot make out sessions.

-Him waking up before you and watching you sleep.

- “Were you watching me sleep?”

- “Yeah, you look so peaceful. I like watching you sleep.”

Young Justice: One Gifset Per Episode: Episode Twenty Four: Performance

Just wait till I write this episode into YJ batmom. I’ve had it planned since it started, the fact that I have several more parts before I can publish it though saddens me somewhat. That and my lack of time

This is #88 from the prompts list requested by anon hope you enjoy! I’m basing this one off of the Penguin mission in Arkham Knight but it is the reader who is being held hostage against Nightwing. 

To say you have gotten yourself into a difficult situation is an understatement. You refused help and now you are paying the price of your mistake. It all started a few weeks back when you began an investigation on Penguin. You finally found the place he is keeping all of his weapons but made the mistake of underestimating him. It’s almost as if he was expecting you. 

Turns out it was a trap all along and you fell right into it. When you showed up there was a considerable amount of his men waiting and you just couldn’t fight all of them alone. They tied you up to a chair and have left you with a few cuts and bruises. Cobblepot wants revenge on Nightwing for ruining a business opportunity. That’s why he has you as a hostage, knowing how much you mean to him and that he will come in order to save your life. You should have known better than to fall for a setup. If only you paid better attention to what was really going on. 

When you look up you spot Dick up in the corner of the room with a finger pressed against his lips. Thank god because you couldn’t bare to be around Cobblepot and his thugs for much longer. 

“What are you smiling for?” Cobblepot spots the smug grin on your face and you know exactly what to do. 

“Oh, nothing I’m just thinking about what bones I’m going to break when I get out of this.” You keep him occupied while Dick moves around from above. 

“You’re a cocky little shit aren’t ya? I’m going to enjoy killing ya and the pretty boy too when he gets here!” Penguin snarls his yellow teeth at you but you continue you to smile to annoy him some more. 

“Y/n I’m right above you. I’m going to jump down and break you out of that chair so be ready.” Dick whispers through the comms that are thankfully still up and running. 

Within seconds he jumps down and flips you and the chair over his head. When it makes contact with the ground it shatters and releases you. You roll forward before getting up onto your feet ready to fight. 

“Stop them ya idiots!” Penguin screams at his men while shuffling off to keep himself hidden. 

Each one that comes your way gets a punch full of rage and a few broken bones. You look over to Dick for some assistance with one of the bigger guys. “Nightwing, catch!” You kick him in the stomach, knocking him off his feet and into the air slightly. 

Dick jumps up with both his escrima sticks in hand, kicking his lower back to hopefully incapacitate him. He doesn’t get up which is good. Dick bends his knees as he lands back on the ground, sliding across the floor. His eyes meet with yours and with a nod you fight side by side with him. With both of your skills combined you mow down Penguin’s men effortlessly. 

After taking all the thugs out you and Dick look for Cobblepot but it seems he made his getaway a while ago. The two of you grapple up and exit the building through the roof. It feels good to feel the cold air bouncing off the exposed skin of your face. You feel a little sore from the beating but you’ll survive and thanks to Dick your head is still attached to your shoulders. 

“What the hell were you thinking going after Cobblepot yourself, y/n!?” Dick steps forward, throwing his hand up in the air. He sounds angry too. 

“Whoa, calm down. I’ll be more careful next time. This was just a stupid mistake it won’t happen again.” You assure him but he still seems unsure. “Please say something?” You can’t bare the silence much longer. 

“I almost lost you.” He begins. “Promise me you won’t do something like that again?” His hands hold yours as he looks deep into your eyes. 

“I pinky promise.” You link your little finger with his and he laughs a little as you peck him on the cheek. 

“Why do you have to be so adorable?” He pulls you into his arms and you wrap yours around his neck. 

“Can’t help it.” You tiptoe to press your lips against his and the two of you share a kiss on top of the roof, the wind gently blowing your hair. Things couldn’t be more perfect.
