Unacceptable. Despite knowing that their hands were as tied as his own, he still cannot fathom this course of action. Or rather... lack of action. Teeth chew against his bottom lip, threatening to split skin as his impatience gets the better of him.

" There has to be something that someone, anyone can do to try in the meantime ! I refuse to believe that we are sitting ducks here. " Nothing, by normal means, were making a dent into bringing those memories back. Anything beyond that would be seen as forbidden ( their rule of never having magic affect the body was so much more a hindrance he never thought he'd have to think of it as ), much to his chagrin. So frustrating... nearly unbearable as he no longer has that figure to ease his worries the way he did back then. Oh, how horrendous this was.

...He knows he cannot toy with the idea of desperate measures. Not in front of the Knights Moralis. He also knows they harbor a similar grief & frustration for this tragic circumstance. The nuance in tone, just distinguishable enough to pick out of the words they likely had no choice but to say. The sudden outburst made by the witch, filled to the brim with emotion & glossy eyes, quickly vanishes as his gaze falls downcast. As if surrendering to the reality he wished he didn't live in.
