"I was in the neighbourhood."
That, and the fact that the pharmacy practically speed-dialled his clinic, relentlessly. The phone in the office remained despite the desire to tear it from the wall and toss it straight into the garbage, but then the PCAs would be mad. Law did not need nor want to stir anger from the secretaries.
Now whether or not Law had actually been in the neighbourhood was anyone's guess.
"You'll find that Robin and I communicate quite a fair bit. She's always happy to take my calls." That and her armed with Chopper? Sanji wouldn't have been able to escape. "Good. That means I don't have to enlist them or Shachi, Bepo and Penguin to bring you to my office," but that doesn't mean that option is going to be thrown away entirely.
His eyes glance over, assessing Sanji silently. "The door was left open. I left myself in."

SHE'S SLUMPED OVER, FULLY FOLDED AT THE DINING TABLE. Her cheek is flush with the cloth, gently rubbing it in hopes the sensation will distract her from the ache gnawing at her insides. There was no spring in her step upon entry — just a slow, unsteady trudge. A soft whimper escapes her lips. Arms, folded in her lap, cinch tighter around her waist. Lacrimal buds blossom into full on tears.
There's no point in denying it. There's no benefit in denying it. "I promise I'm not sick," Neela mewls, lips tugging back and forth as she mulls the decision to elaborate. Only once she turns her head—away from the cook—and introduces her other cheek to the table cloth, can she bring herself to finish. "I don't feel good."
