i. i will not be interested in writing with you if your blog features muses from certain fandoms such as harry potter, attack on titan, stranger things, hazbin hotel and so forth. i also ask that anyone who writes or romanticizes pedophilia, incest, noncon/dubon and so forth not to follow me. in general, if i don’t vibe with you, i will block to curate my dash, but it’s rarely ever personal.

ii. i use beta editor exclusively and cut posts. note that my formatting is very simple and i may not always use icons. please don’t use lightly colored text, more than two or three spaces between words or put fancy fonts in your replies to me. i will gently remind you about this once or twice, but if you continue to ignore me i will softblock. i’m not a high maintenance writing partner, but please reblog ask prompts from the source, cut thread replies and try to ask for my permission before metagaming, even if it’s a small thing.

iii. i am multiship, but practice ship exclusivity. this means that i will only ship with one portrayal of a character at a time. it’s just a personal preference. note that any romance will require extensive plotting and good chemistry both ic and ooc!

iv.   i do not follow for follow. if i’m following you, that means i’m genuinely interested in both you and the character(s) you write. even if it seems like our source materials may not mesh well, i am always happy to give it a try and i hope that you’ll do the same. that being said, if you don’t think it’ll work out, that’s totally fine! please just softblock me. i intend to extend the same courtesy.

v. the best way to interact with me is either by plotting with me on discord or sending in an ic ask and continuing it after i answer. i make starter calls every now and then, but these are the most reliable ways of writing with me. if you ever want to discuss a potential dynamic between erika and your muse, never hesitate to im me so we can exchange discords or otherwise!

erika is roughly 15 at the beginning of frlg, having just been made the celadon gym leader, and i'm kind of wonky with how she ages in the timeline, but i'm going to tentatively put her at around 30 for her main verse (so, post-gen vii).

i have to say i really enjoy how pokespe characterizes erika... in the games she's just kind of always this one-note yamato nadeshiko type and i know the gym leaders aren't usually given a lot of depth but it's lame to me. she's given a lot more feistiness in pokespe and i like how she's more 'cool and collected' than 'soft and sweet'. she kind of reminds me of shinobu from demon slayer and i really like it.
