anatole dolokhov and helene is the freakiest fucking trio in all of theatre. i can not explain the situation to anyone who has not seen it because theyre so fucked up. two of them are siblings. two of them have spouses. all of them are fucking. helene sets a girl up with her brother because she thinks its funny. her method of doing this is by intensely seducing her for three minutes and it WORKS. dolokhov writes anatoles love letters. anatole and dolokhov violently make out and its never mentioned again. dolokhov brags to helenes husband that theyre fucking and then immediately gets shot.
