Artem Anoufriev reacting to his life sentence.
Nikita’s uncle and mother
During the investigation, Marina Lytkina fully admitted herself guilty, saying: "I always told him that there are more good people in the world than bad people, that one must learn to forgive. I tried to protect him from trouble while I could, and thereby broke his life. I have ceased to be an authority for him, because I am only a weak woman who have not achieved anything in her life, which only worked from morning till night, in order to somehow survive"
Artem Anoufriev’s mother
Three months before the arrest the neighbors of Anufriev began to hear strange sounds from their apartment. Artem shouted "I hate everyone!" And "I'll kill you!". At the same time, strange sounds were heard, as if a guy was punching against the wall or rushing at her with his body. There is a suggestion that he beat his mother, because sometimes the neighbors heard "Leave me alone! I'll smash you again! "During the investigation Artem frankly admitted that his relationship with his mother was so severe that at that time he feared that he would not restrain himself and kill her.
Nikita Lytkin on the far right
Nina Kuzmina, one of the surviving victims, said: “Nikita wasn’t lucky with friends. He has been an outcast since the fifth class. He wasn’t accepted due to his personality. Life was hard for him. And here, his sole friend emerged”
