It’s okay to live a life others don’t understand.

it’s okay if the only thing you did today was breathe.
because even breathing gets harder. but it will get better. (via love-all-my-flaws)
Stop comparing where you’re at with where everyone else is. It doesn’t move you farther ahead, improve your situation, or help you find peace. It just feeds your shame, fuels your feelings of inadequacy, and ultimately, it keeps you stuck. The reality is that there is no one correct path in life. Everyone has their own unique journey.

Plantraits by Anthony Samaniego
Los Angeles-based photographer Anthony Samaniego is most known for his stunning dreamy cityscape photography of Los Angeles. Following the pink haze from his Los Angeles series in his project Plantraits, Samaniego showcases his incredible eye for textures and colors. Deeply ethereal and otherworldly, the photographer’s work takes an unconventional approach when photographing nature’s most beautiful subject: flowers. The images take the shape of pastel hues from a chimerically exquisite planet in our dreams, which are out of focus and vague. Like the flower, Samaniego ‘s technique resembles its grace and delicacy.

To my future kid.
I have an idea of the mom I will become.
I’m gonna be needy and clingy. Annoying and sweet. Oh so huggable. :) because hugs are the best. Infinite kisses.
Swear. I will smother you with love. The kind of love I wasn’t shown or given growing up.
I’m scared though. I’m scared to hurt you. I’m scared I’ll say the wrong thing. I’m scared I’ll do the wrong thing. I’m so scared.
I hope you’ll love me just the way I am.
“Have you doubted your progress, regretted your choices, put yourself down? Remember that you are doing just fine. Remind yourself right now that no matter what it looks like, you are doing the best you can. And getting better. Encourage yourself, support yourself, and celebrate every little thing about yourself.”

forget me not .
*one day at a time*
Sometimes I think there's something wrong with me. But then, I also think that it's just me trying to play the victim.
1 month ago I turned 27. Wah.
You’re only given a spark of madness. You mustn’t lose it.

Weekly Update: August 2 - 8
Sunday:
As per usual, I attended mass with my mother at my local church. I couldn’t volunteer to help today with collection and communion because I hurt my ankle. It was still sore but I was able to walk just fine. Went straight home and just chilled. I somehow get the craving for chicken afritada, so I decide to make cook it for my late lunch slash early dinner. Oh right, I skyped with my fiancé and he was the one the put the idea in my head because he had it for lunch. Haha! Anyhoo, my family had a party to go and I missed out because I had to work for inventory. Wah waahh. Btw, I made the afritada too soupy haha but considering it was my first time making it, it came out to be edible and pretty tasty. If I do say so myself. Hehehe!
Monday:
What an inventory! I was hoping to get off early but we didn’t leave until almost 4 am. Rude. I had trouble walking around and putting pressure on my good leg made it hurt. It was so awkward. I didn’t know whether to walk properly or limp. Haha so yeah. Snoozed until about 10. Had to take mother to do her errands. We stopped to get some dessert/drink from this Vietnamese place nearby. It was yum! We went home and ate the rest of my afritada. I accidentally cooked too much rice for the rice cooker and the top was undercooked hehe. But all good. After lunch, I decided to nap. It lasted a couple of hours. I was supposed to take mother to work but I woke up sick. Nose all runny. Itchy/sore throat. Geez. My foot’s feeling a lot better now. No more limping. Just a little tender but overall good!
Tuesday:
9:45 am to 3 pm shift. 5 hours. Not too bad. I was planning on stay for a full shift but I said to myself screw it. Craved for Little Lucca’s which btw is an awesome sandwich place! Got my usual turkey in bbq sauce with everything except pickles on it. Along with their famous garlic pesto sauce. Yum! Chilled for a bit after and went to Mazzetti’s to get dessert. Stop by the beach for a bit ans scurried on home. Well to my friend’s house and switch from my car to hers to get her baby girl from preschool. We were contemplating which Target to go to. The one nearby or the one with a Barnes and Noble next door. We chose the nearby one. Did some random shopping and went home.
Wednesday:
Day off. Spent most of it in bed and watching Friends. Towards the end of the night, I got the energy to do my BLS online class and almost finished it. Almost. Got one to go. Then I can do the actual skills session class.
Thursday:
Work. Blah. Barely sold anything but good enough considering how slow it was. Nothing too wpic today.
Friday:
Idek what happened anymore. I worked as usually. 1 pm to 9 pm. Whomp whomp. Got a different drink from Starbies today. Tried out their very berry Hibiscus; only because they ran out of lemonade. Rudeness. Oh well. Haha it did the job. Ooo I finally bought the chucks I’ve been wanting! The all black high tops. Yeee! So happy!
Saturday:
Another work day. Nothing much. I like milking my gas to the point where it warns me that I’m low. Haha! I’ve been planning to go to Costco the past couple of days so I planned on going after work. Plus thinking Costco was closed at 630, I was good on time since I’m suppose to be off at 515. I decided to stretch my hours till 545 so still lots of time to go. Then I check the time again. And it says 6. I start going crazy hahaha! This was 520 at the time. I had my coworkers worrying with me until finally one called and made sure that they weren’t closing just yet. Long story short. I made it. Hahaha!
Ok. Bye. Thanks for reading about my week! 😂😂😂😂😂😘
