Dear friends and loyal customers,
We are writing to let you all know that CYKEL will be closing at the end of February. This decision has been a hard one for us to make, definitely bittersweet, but as many of you know we are a family owned and operated small business. This means that the well being of our family, and our family dynamics, always has first priority; especially when it comes to large decisions like this one. We are delighted to be expecting a new baby this June and want to have more time together as a family once the baby has arrived; something that was nearly impossible when we welcomed our first with the shop responsibilities.
We have had an amazing six years with all of you as customers and friends of our shop. There are still great things in the horizon for us in the cycling industry, we are not leaving all together! NiK has accepted an offer as General Manager at Contrada bikes where he will continue to deliver the quality customer service and excellence we have always strived for. We really hope that you will follow NiK over to Contrada for your bicycle needs.
You will be happy to know that everyone who still has time left on their complimentary service schedule through CYKEL, will be able to come to Contrada where this will carry over and be honored in Contrada’s service department. We uphold our promise and are still here to take care of all of you!

We appreciate all the love and support we have received throughout these six years. Our gracious landlords have been amazing beyond words, they have become family, and the neighborhood of Northbeach has been warm and kind to us. We will surely miss it.
