I’m trying to challenge myself to write something everyday as a means to better express myself and the random floating thoughts that never seem to leave my mind. I’ve gotten inspiration and a complimentary push from Gloria Atanmo and I think this is whats best for me to do. Consistency is death for me; If I can leap over this hurdle then I’ll finally be able to have momentum in something right?

Besides, I haven’t been on tumblr and there’s much that has happened in my during my hiatus so I have a lot to talk about. I wouldn’t know if I have any avid readers that salivate in desperation for my next blog post but if consistency finds me attractive then be sure to tune look at my blog every single day for a written post about something random…. like this one.

P.S. (people still say p.s.?) I think the biggest challenge will be writing when I don't have anything to say; I usually only write well when I'm plump with an emotion.

Actions speak louder than words. I don't have to say anything, because my actions have already spoken. It's saying I give up. My mind is my CPR; it seems to resuscitate me with the truth. The truth has hit me so hard and with so much intensity that even if being in poverty was the truth for my life then I'll stay. It's the conditions that I'll struggle with, and as a result I'll start complaining in my mind and through my emotions. I'm trying though but "Trying" to do something is not enough because "trying" doesn't get you the results you're seeking after. I hate saying this is where The Lord has me because it's such a cliche line, and it's become an excuse for Christians not to work hard for what they want. God doesn't have me here (maybe he does). I don't want to believe that, but then again, when you hear from a prophetic individual that The Lord stripped everything from you just to see what's in your heart, it can be comforting to know that you're only struggling because the hand of The Lord is orchestrating it. If that's the case, then I'm chasing fantasies. Chasing wind. Some things just need to die in this season, because if this is a test, then I'm failing miserably and the things in my heart can show for it.
