Go bungee jumping. I want to feel alive, feel the joy of existing and the strenght to survive.
“Coming together is a beginning, staying together is progress, and working together is success.”
— Henry Ford
“You have enemies? Good. That means you’ve stood up for something, sometime in your life.”
— Victor Hugo
It is harder to forgive someone than to let them go.
Kicking somebody out based on mutual animosity is a safe choice. But what do you think you could learn from it?
Imagine you forgive your worst enemy. Imagine you feel normal around them again. Imagine that you are able to respect each other and you don't cross boundaries anymore.
That way, you learn how to deal with difficult people. In an ideal world, you find people with the correct values and drive to accomplish anything. In the real world, this scenario is just a fairytale.
I stopped lying to myself and accepted the fact that I am not always right, I need others more than they need me and I also started to forgive myself for the mistakes I made and sometimes still do. That is why I don't run away from problems that much anymore.
The remedy is facing your fear and being real. For real.
Why do I feel like I failed?
My team is still a fake team. I am not satisfied with my performance as a leader, but now I know that the issue is much bigger.
Learn to admit your mistakes, but always strive for greatness.
When you expect great things from others, you need to set an example, especially when you lead them.
But leadership is not about perfection. It is about authenticity.
Expectation becomes ignition.
BATTELING THE IMPOSTER SYNDROME..
Her: Your actions had a profoundly bad influence on our team.
Me: I'm sorry to hear that. Can you elaborate?
Her: No, I don't remember exactly what happened anymore and also I am afraid that it might hurt your feelings.
My internal monologue: I will not trouble myself with your lack of specification. Your feedback is of no value to me.
hard 2 let urself feel everything and remain confident but it the only way to achieve true confidence in my experience
