the moon shared his stars with her and in return she shared her clouds with him. when she would rise and he would fall, a simple hello was exchanged. the moon loves the comfort and warmth the sun has and the sun loves the coldness and truth the moon has. very rarely did they see each other up close, but once in a very long time they would align. just long enough to memorize the curves and holes, the heat the moon would never feel again, the chill the sun relished in, the way they blacked out the sky together. the way they fit each other perfectly. the sun and moon never touched, never felt, never spoke, but they loved. they love every day and every night. their love is immortal and relentless. for every night and day they chase each other and never lose sight of each other.
