i used to love writing. it was so sweet to weave together pretty words and for a moment let them be my legacy. i was good, too. but i’ve fed every inch of myself to this god damn black hole of a relationship and with all my blood went my skill.

suddenly everything was dark. my brain, my room, the world. no words appeared before me. no ways of telling what brewed beneath.

it’s coming back to me now. i hope i’m doing okay showing it but i’ll give myself a pat on the back for trying anyway.

somewhere, just beneath the wool, my words and my voice are still echoing. they’re getting louder, closer. i’ll be me again. someday very soon and i am SO excited.
