Note* I will try to make quick because I think Mr. Imaish’s career speaks for itself, and any otaku worth their salt should know who he is or at least be familiar with his work. Either through his work at Gainax of as one of the founding members of Trigger. His style has re energized the medium of animation. Using fluid movements, and quick editing. If you have been watching anime in the last 20 years odds are you have seen numerous examples of his work and influence. As well his illustration style. That amazing black ink style you just do not see a lot of any more in comics because it is so easy to shade digitally. That is what I would like to focus on today with this first assortment of his FLCL illustrations found in the three volumes the FLCL light novel.
