@ninesixty​ fell out of a tree!

Hark! Another falling damsel! Not that Marnie was some young maiden in trouble normally, she could handle herself, but if Bren could lend a hand, why not, right? Oh, but she was just a moment too late to stamp her feet into the ground into a stable stance for catching the smaller girl. When Marnie came crashing through the leaves and into her arms, they were both sent careening backwards onto the ground.

Thankfully for Marnie, Brenleigh took the brunt of the damage, having been on the bottom of their two-person pile. The wind was only momentarily knocked out of her, though, and was soon asking if the other girl was all right.

Sitting both of them up, Bren did a quick first aid once over, spotting nothing major. There was a little scratch on Marnie’s hand, but she assumed it was more from the quick brush against a sharp branch than the fall. Still, a hand was quick to pull out a plaster, placing it on the little nick and even adding on a kiss for it to heal quickly. A habit she picked up from her days kissing boo boos of her fellow orphans back in the days of yore.

“Take care of yourself in the future, Marnie. These hands will help shape the future of your hometown!”
