Dale Tale continues! Stay tuned for more of this story.
Hey guys, sorry about the lack of updates lately. I think this is my 4th comic in the last month, and i really have no excuse. I'm gonna be trying some new stuff for the future. This is page 1 of my first longer narrative, so stay tuned for page 2 of Dale Tale! Keep it real, y'all.
In response to 1111 comics' comic from yesterday maybe he could become a chef?
#111: Lessons on radiation. www.1111comics.me/comic/111 Comics are a bad influence on children. In response to ‘Godzilla’ (www.nineteenletterslong.com/102/godzilla) by our friend, nineteenletterslong :)
"oh god, would that be in poor taste?" http://nineteenletterslong.com/102
you see, you think his lack of emotional understanding is making him insensitive, when really he literally doesn’t understand his emotions. funerals are cliche, but ooh well

Ahh, so it's been a week and I have missed 2 updates. Oops. A while ago I decided I was going to do something big for comic #100, but I couldn't think of anything that wasn't stupid and meta about making comics, so I decided to do a regular comic instead. Anybody seen the movie "Snatch"? Know the general stereotype of a mobster and fixed boxing matches? WOOHOOO COMIC #100!
The body's reaction to embarrassment is embarrassing and that is the definition of cruel.
Been a little while since doing a serious comic. Is this depressing or inspiring? http://nineteenletterslong.com/097
A little lazy on this one. Oh well, I'll be back on track soon enough. 3 days a week until I die! http://nineteenletterslong.com/096
I was totally going to do comics every day this week, but I watched House of Cards instead. Now I can't get it out of my brain.
I just saw you "dead boy" comic and I love where you chose to use red. It's really awesome!
Thank you! Yeah, using color to help tell the story has been something I've been working on since the beginning. When I first started, color was intimidating and I debated on whether I should even use it. The jokes are the same in black and white, and it would certainly be easier to not use color. I decided to give it a shot anyway, and I started off coloring things in a literal way, so the comic looked like a regular picture. But through a lot of experimenting and practice, I've found that a more limited palette works wonders for contrast and emphasis. I've still got a long ways to go, but working on getting there has been a lot of fun!
New comic tomorrow as well! Maybe daily until sunday, who knows?!?! Comic URL
