Watched a million times growing up and never noticed this until now, but Belle and Adam’s dance at the very end is Aurora and Phillip. It doesn’t show well in the photo but at some point it’s just straight Prince Phillip with a ponytail.

I know they copy sequences a lot, especially coming out of the dark ages I just never caught this use before! ESPECIALLY with everyone in the far back looking strangely medieval? Lol

I feel like he'd be a hand mirror... Similar to the magic mirror. Being a mirror would expectedly reflect (lol) his own vanity and selfishness. But also I want to imagine his actual face being on the back of the mirror so when others use him, his "back" is always turned to them. He never sees how they're feeling when they pick up the mirror. Something something symbolising him not particularly caring about others' feelings especially in vulnerable moments (e.g., looking in the mirror!) or himself feeling vulnerable towards people viewing him "behind his back" feeling out of control when he's not putting up his high-status royal front

I'm really curious about the fact that the fandom thinks Cogsworth is older than Lumiere, which I PERSONALLY find incorrect. I mean, in the animated film (not live-action) there's no way to know because it's not explicitly stated, but based on wrinkles, one can "deduce" that Lumiere is a few years older than Cogsworth, seeing that Lumiere has more wrinkles (or maybe it's just that Cogsworth has a baby face and Lumiere's face has slightly more pronounced wrinkles than Cogsworth's; we'll never know). But it would be interesting if their ages were revealed.
