With the start of this event, Ringās route, their Past Records, and Nicaās route, theyāve at least given us appropriate eye makeup, because this is gonna hurt:

I would suggest saving Nicaās ābadā ending for last, because youāre about to find out that his good luck really is like a curse for others:
The thing I love about him is that, beneath his questionable surface (mostly dubcon, but also his habit to wander around at night, being a total ragebaiter etc) he really is just a lonely manchild that never got to grow up properly (first in the slums, then in elbert's mansion that's full of other problems) and just want to be loved normally
The last part is the most prominent in his blind love route where he pretends to have actually died "just because he wants to", but his pov story clearly tells you that he wants to do that because he wants to see Kate's reaction had he died as a normal person and not a mirror curse bearer.
Then there's also him who imo, is one of the, if not the most loving towards the Kate. In contrary to most of the other suitors (who either got nudged by Kate to correct some of the worse traits of theirs, or knows that Kate loves them the way they are so they don't feel the need to change) Alfons actively decided that he wants to become a better, even if just slightly, person for Kate. I'm perfectly fine with the villains being the way they are because - well, I wouldn't be playing this game if I want to see good boys - but the way Alfons knows that he's terribly flawed, hence deciding to change on his own will, really screams about how much he cherishes Kate and wants to become a better person just for her.
Which brings into how in his pov stories he's constantly praising Kateš„ŗadorable, cute, dazzling, comparing her to a goddess, you name it. He's not vocal about it but it shows, because Kate often notes how she feels like Alfons is looking at her like he's trying to engrave her in his memories.
Alfons might not be the best person, but he's such an ideal boyfriend when he decides to be

- guys ik this is a super late comment to the mangaā¦.But cut me some slack cuz Iāve only began to read the manga versions of my childhood animeās this year. Also ik teacher x student was more popular back in 1990s-2000s ish animeās (from what Iāve seen.) but still itās so weird and the development doesnāt even make sense romantically I feel like idk.
