Hello sorry for bothering but may I ask you a question is all of your fic and writing specifically for "white" readers even when there are no descriptions, can poc read it? Sorry if it sounded silly

not a silly question at all!! i hope that anyone can read my fics, of course!! i try my hardest not to include any sort of descriptors for reader at all (and i’m getting a bit more conscious of subtle things i admit i’d never considered before like blushing etc. but we’re always learning, so some of my earlier stuff might be a bit less suitable for blank projection)

i am white and when i’m writing i’m thinking about myself just sort of naturally, but i do my best not to talk about skin colour or hair length or body type, though i am also fat so sometimes i think that sort of slips in, maybe subtly (i like meaty body descriptions and characters will never lift reader lol) and i write a lot of dialogue which obviously is my voice

all that to say please know my fics are intended to be for everyone, but if you notice any sort of glaring descriptors of reader let me know because i would like to keep them vague!!

also adding a caveat that while i write for readers of different genders this is because i do feel somewhat fluid so i can relate, i wouldn’t write specifically for a different race (unless it’s an oc and i have specific information about them) because that’s not lived experience i have and there are plenty of writers out there who could do it more authentically and deserve your support!! i hope that makes sense!!
