Am considering leaving Tumblr now that it's selling data to Midjourney and OpenAI. Fuck this shit. After this plus how the platform handles everything else (namely transmisogyny and zionism), I'm so done.

Am deciding this within a day of hearing the news but I'm gonna stop posting art here starting now.

I'm basically at my wit's end. Tumblr selling data to Midjourney and OpenAI is the final nail in the coffin for me, adding to the transmisogyny, the recent behaviour from the wonderful CEO and the whole Palestine tag suppression.

I don't trust the opt-out setting whatsoever, in that I don't trust that Midjourney and OpenAI would delete data retroactively when asked nicely.
