when i first started getting into btd6 in around 2023 quincy immediately stood out to me design wise. he’s definitely a character i’d main in a video game just cuz of how cool he looks. this was before i became churchill brained. basically what i’m saying is that in an alternate universe my blog would be named quincy gaming and i’d own 100000 quingle plushes
i hc quincy to be on the shorter side, he has an agile build that helps him be especially nimble in archery which is why he was one of the top graduating students of his class. not only that but he has a very determined mindset to get the job done
it’s very hard to bring down quincy’s morale! he’s a good natured monkey all around and as the face/acting mascot of the heroes he bears a lot of responsibility to ensure they carry a good image for monkeyopolis
quincy is very emotionally mature and in tune with his feelings. partially because he regularly goes to therapy and often has a good cry here and there. i imagine representing everyone would put a lot of stress and pressure on him to perform well, one of the reasons he goes to therapy in the first place
party animal. he throws a lot of parties and knows how to get down. he invites all the heroes to his place where it quickly devolves into chaos after a few hours
quincy is a huge romantic and usually goes all out for valentines, for all his close friends and admirers. this is inspired by his cupid quincy skin and the art of him holding a box of chocolates
quincy loves big and grand gestures, but he’s often the one doing the giving and not the receiving. someone give this monkey a hug
he was rejected by gwen but they still remained great friends afterwards
quincy has major rizz but tends to fall for monkeys outside of his dating pool. silly little quingle
if quincy wasn’t a hero he’d most likely be an actor, and a famous one at that
because this is a bency household i’ll share a few of my bency hcs here too
quincy is not exactly tech savvy but benjamin is always willing to help him with computer stuff
benjamin occasionally babysits quincy’s child. i imagine quincy’s kid wouldn’t be trusting of ben at first but would quickly come around and even look forward to spending time with him
ben admires quincy’s charisma and athleticism, some traits that he himself is actively working on. it’s also why he fell for him
quincy’s assuredness balances out benjamin’s insecurities
quincy’s probably dragged ben’s ass to therapy with him a few times before
