Tickets from the scheduled gig at the seccglasgow that was cancelled. March 28th, 1994. Recordings were scheduled to be filmed by BBCRadio1 and broadcasted over MTV followed by interviews. Kurt was very excited to play with The Raincoats, one of his favorite bands.

"I don't really know anything about the Raincoats except that they recorded some music that has affected me so much that, whenever I hear it I'm reminded of a particular time in my life when I was (shall we say) extremely unhappy, lonely, and bored. If it weren't for the luxury of putting that scratchy copy of the Raincoats' first record, I would have had very few moments of peace. When I listen to the Raincoats I feel as if I'm a stowaway in an attic, violating and in the dark. Rather than listening to them I feel like I'm listening in on them. We're together in the same old house and I have to be completely still or they will hear me spying from above and, if I get caught – everything will be ruined because it's their thing." - Kurt Cobain.

Archived article: March 12th, 1993: Nirvana concert to benefit Bosnian women.

"Grunge Rock band Nirvana will donate proceeds from an April 9 performance at San Francisco's Cow Palace to relief effort for rape victims in war-torn Bosnia-Herzegovina. Proceeds go to the Tresnjevka Women's group in Zagreb."

Cancelled gig poster from March 14th, 1994 at the classic Sporthalle in Cologne, Germany. The remaining "In Utero" tour dates were cancelled because of Kurt Cobain having severe laryngitis and bronchitis at the same time. He also slipped into a coma during this month during his addicition battle.

The front cover to one of Kurt Cobain's notebooks that he kept a lot of "In Utero" material inside, or so from the 1992-1994 era. The 'Figure 10' cutout was from a random medical book Kurt had, one of many... the ninja sticker is from Botan Rice candy when the guys were on tour in Japan, 1992.

Very Ape - Recorded with Steve Albini's aluminum Veleno guitar, recordings of this track date back to practice jams in 1992. Not much else is known about this song except that the guys dug it and when asked about the song's meaning Kurt said, "I don't know." 🤷‍♂️

"Penny Royal Tea. A herbal abortive. It doesn't work ya hippie!" Another one of the earliest "In Utero" tracks with recordings dating back to 1990 with unreleased apartment sessions between Dave Grohl and Kurt Cobain. The song was considered a hit by Kurt, even going so far to tell Anton Corbijn to direct a music video for the song.

Kurt was not pleased with how the final "In Utero" version sounded, wishing it had more of the polished/poppy "Nevermind" feel to it. 20 years later in 2014, "Pennyroyal Tea" was released as a single on 7" for RecordStoreDay, reaching number 1 on the Billboard charts 'Hot 100' list.

"'Pennyroyal Tea' is about a person who's beyond depressed, in their death bed. I have had stomach issues and I guess that rubbed off onto the song. I have so many friends who tried to use that herb and it never works. The 'Leonard Cohen afterworld' line was my therapy. When I was depressed and sick, I'd read 'Malloy Dies' by Beckett, listen to Leonard Cohen, but that would actually make things worse.." - Kurt Cobain.

Leonard Cohen would later state in a 1995 interview about Kurt, "I'm sorry I couldn't have spoken to the young man. I might have been able to lay something on him, or maybe not.."
