Hey everybody, long time no see!
Here's a project called "You & Your Record" drawn and edited entirely by yours truly. ⏺️💿🎶
I bet the time I got to spend working on this thing overall cost me a month.
Another huge acknowledgment was that it was Record Store Day somewhere in April, and I felt more than devastated that I couldn't have this finished any earlier.
Besides seeing all these records, another thing to mention was that everything is supposed to be a parody on those "interactive" children and adults' books that are filled with rhymes or sentences focusing on one repetitive object.
Vinyls have spent the longest time with us, as casettes and CDs got to come out later, and their importance lies in more than just the music they play. They can be found at many people's collections, special, long-lasting or recent. Not to mention that the quality of the sound definitely feels more glorious than playing anything on streaming apps.
Records also help us make new music buddies, discover artists or bands ahead of our time/sound and "no pain no gain" here means it never hurts listening to an album, whether you do or don't like it at the end. 💽🎧🎵
(Any song in the background is recommended for a more joyful experience)
