After 15 months of waiting, I finally got my interview done at the embassy today. Despite of the nerves, I did pretty well. Questions were quite straightforward and I will received my visa in 2 weeks time. I almost cried walking out of the embassy. . . I’m so so happy to finally be reunited with my Husband and I wish we never have to be apart ever again. #kellyandnisa

Paparazzi.

This month and next month is all about spending quality time with family and friends. That includes being there for every event (insyallah), and in this case, it’s supporting my lovely Friend, @nissielyu on her debut as an illustrator for a French book called Nomad Around The World alongside with the author/singer, Vincent. (at French Bookshop Singapore)

I miss this. . . The year was 2015. We have been dating for probably 6 months when we found out that his expat contract will due sooner than expected. . . There was only 2 options: 1. Stay in SG and find a new job? (Kelly) 2. Have new adventures in a new country? (Nisa) . . We decided to go for option 2 and chose San Diego to be our new home for the next 6 months. It was a bold move given that the relationship is still new but we took the chance anyway.. . . This was our adventures together at Del Mar where we had an amazing Mexican food from the food trucks and won USD5.50 from the race. 🐎 . . #kellyandnisa

Archived and unedited. . . About 2 years ago I thought it was a great idea to fulfil my dream into becoming an SQ girl. This is me, at Tanah Merah MRT. Nose all sweaty and making my way down to the HQ for my final interview (did you sing the white chicks song? I did). I made it through all rounds and it was overwhelming. But I have to make the most difficult decision and I had to turn down the offer. I feel that it would be so selfish of me to fly most of the time, leaving Kelly all alone by himself in Singapore. . . Alhamdulillah.. My dreams did came true when I married my Best Friend who’s been so supportive and I’m so excited that our visa is finally coming to an end soon. It’s been a long and stressful 2017 for both of us. All the travels, moving in to a new state, new house, etc.. And we finally got news that we will hear from the embassy soon for an interview. I think I’m all set and ready for the move, insyallah. ✈️

One of the most genuine person I’ve known and I’m so glad to call you my Friend. We may not see each other for weeks and even months. But when we do, it always feels so good.
