How do you feel about Alec slapping Gabriella?
I’m pissed. I’d kick his ass if there weren’t so many people in line to hit him already. He’s an ass. I regret the fact that I wasn’t there during the fight. Not only would I have tried to prevent it, but the joy of seeing Gabs kick him in the balls would bring me happiness for a long time.

“I’ll keep that in mind if I ever get around to it,” he decided with a laugh. “Sounds like a plan,” Noah agreed, pulling out his phone to text his friend. “I’ll have him save a table for us. We can stop by your place, then mine -- the restaurant isn’t too far from there. And hey, if you’re wearing a new dress, maybe I’ll even wear a tie. Gotta go all out for a special occasion like this one,” he joked.

“It is, honestly. Soon, I’m going to have to resort to skydiving or something to get my adrenaline fix,” Noah joked back. “Oh, I believe it. Honestly, the more problematic you are, the more likely someone sees it and sells it to a tabloid. Really, the more terrifying you are in this town, the better.”

“That’s right.” Gabriella said. She only grinned as she kept her legs pumping to make herself go even higher. “Whatever I say.” Gabriella explained with a giggle. She looked over at him and raised an eyebrow. “I bet you that I will. Just watch me.” Gabriella said. She took about two more swings back and forth before she let go of the chains to jump off. only when she tried to land she ended up falling on the ground instead.
His smirk turned into a look of disbelief as she actually jumped from the highest point of her swing. He wouldn’t have been so concerned if she had actually landed on her feet, but as she fell over, he threw himself out of his own swing to get to her. He landed on his feet, thanking the hours of stunt training he had done for the show, and crouched down beside her. “Are you okay?” he asked, concerned. “Are you bleeding or anything?”

“Oh I’m sure that you do.” Gabriella said with a laugh. She smiled softly when he said that. She was that he enjoyed it with her. Even if it was something as childish as swinging. The younger girl glanced over at him with a smile. “I don’t want you to let me win. Even though you probably would win anyway since you have much longer legs than I do. You have more of the advantage.” Gabriella replied. She then smirked before speaking up again. “On your mark get set.” Gabriella started before going ahead and pumping her legs to get herself going. “Go!”
“Whatever you say,” Noah shot back with a grin. As he started swinging, a carefree feeling overtook him. It was a relief, really. He spent so much time and energy trying to be something perfect that it was nice to take a break and just do something stupid for the heck of it. They both reached a relatively even height, so Noah turned his head. “Bet you won’t jump off,” he challenged.
‘ i don’t know about you, but i feel like i got run over by a steamroller made of cigarettes and booze driven by all of the people i’ve ever slept with. ’
“...It sounds like your night was dramatically more interesting than mine. Did you at least get any fun stories out of it?”

“ thanks, i’m skilled at turning angst into pointless poetry—- it’s only one of my many other useless traits. see, that’s what happens when you live in fancy areas, they’ve got too many regulations. over here, you could set off firecrackers on your balcony so long as you don’t wake up the landlord. ”
“Hey, I wouldn’t call that entirely useless. That puts you ahead of most of the musicians in LA. I think it’s a fair trade, really. I pay a little more, live in a nicer house, don’t have to worry about my neighbors shooting explosives at me... Although I’m interested to see how far you could really go without getting evicted.
