noah was always a quiet child. the offspring of two werewolves from a shortlived relationshipâ if an eighteen month marriage could be called thatâ that always preferred his comic books and chess board to more aggressive or athletic pursuits. though his summers were spent in arizona getting to know his fatherâs pack, new stepmother, and eventually his half-sister, noahâs home remained staunchly in maryland. as he entered puberty and consequently the calder pack, not much changed. noah preferred to deflect attention and be left to his own devices. noah made friends that lasted him ages, with most of the werewolves in town on what could be considered speaking terms with him, since everyone knows heâs dependable even if he is boring.
noahâs past few years have seen an uptick in interesting choices, atleast. getting to know a new member of the pack a little better led to a sharp divergence from noahâs original pre-law to law school college timeline. instead, noah withdrew his application for law school and threw all his money into what would become the vault. their hard work paid off and things seemed to be going well, for a while. the arrival of new vampires and the tension they brought changed the town. for a while it seemed like the calder pack would hold their own, but after the loss of their alpha, the packâs suspicions ran unchecked.
noah wasnât sure what to doâ on one hand, it seemed like this was exactly what the night terrors wanted, but how else were they going to protect their own? even now, as noah is aligned with the pack he has called home for so long. but with tensions rising, being a voice of reason is becoming harder as his packmates accuse him of inaction. noah would prefer nothing more than to sort his new inventory and pretend that nothing is happening, but he knows that wonât solve any problems.
