US Holocaust Museum’s “early warning signs of fascism” sign is going viral

The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum wants to make sure that fascism doesn’t make a comeback. 

A Twitter user snapped a shot of a poster from somewhere inside the Holocaust Museum in Washington, D.C. 

Judging by dollar sign symbol in the lower right hand corner, the sign looks to be a poster for sale. 

The poster is derived from a 2003 article detailing the potential warning signs of an incoming fascist regime. Read more.

I mean, here in Cleveland, the police were instructed to not let ANY media at the protests/riots downtown unless they were going to their buildings... That's pretty controlling to me.

I just realized

You know how abled people are super obsessed with sniffing out "fake" people using mobility aids?

Not only does it obviously harm disabled people but like

There's literally no point to it

It's not like canes and wheelchairs are a limited resource

If someone who doesn't "need" a wheelchair wants to shell out money for one and use it? That's fine! It literally doesn't hurt anybody!

Like the argument could be made for public utilities like shopping scooters, but in reality that just illustrates that we don't have enough of them available

There should be enough of them that if an abled person ran a marathon and is really tired, they can use one without it impacting anybody

Which just leads us to a point we already knew: the myth of the "fake disabled person" has always been a justification for providing inadequate aid and accommodations.

Also... decent wheelchairs for use every day are about $4,000 USD. If someone wants to spend that much just to be in a wherlchair (which is a massive pain in the ass), then more power to them. You do you, booboo. Live a day in my life and see what it does to you. See how hard life is from that seat.
