i had a few headcanons towards the end of the game but one of the more pervasive ones were that mc!akira was, during childhood and nearing their employment in criminal affairs, was almost coddled by their family/adoptive family through good intentions and misunderstanding their blunt affect/muteness. sibling!akira’s interactions with the mc read as anger for suddenly feeling superfluous to me and with their being the primary voice for the mc in the game it felt like one natural conclusion to arrive at
