Tumblr, you are weird.

Recently I've been looking forward to doing a bit of blogging again. Cue the search for blogging options, then I remembered - I already have a Tumblr account, don't I? I can still use that.

Around the same time, I heard some folks talking about Tumblr being less welcoming of queer (or queer-coded) content and forcing mature labels or straight out hiding it. I didn't think much of it, seeing as I don't think I've uploaded anything like that here.

Turns out I was wrong, as I have two YouTube videos featuring Noelle, the Other Side (which, for those who aren't aware, is me... just different). And turns out those people were right, because - what do you know? - Tumblr thinks those posts need a Mature tag. I'm not aware if they are hidden or not, but they might be for all I know.

Which is pretty fucked up IMHO - I have posts here with clear swearing, screenshots from games where you fight other people and enemies in a clearly non-peaceful way, hell there's even a dick graffiti in one of those. None of those got a mature rating. But a handsome lad turning into a gorgeous lass for a couple videos totalling less than ten minutes warrants a mature label? And mind you, these are gaming videos - no suggestive ASMR, no soft-ero stuff, nothing that could possibly suggest anything NSFW is going on. So what gives?

I don't understand the logic of this place, but it's off-putting. And coming from a place that years ago was allowing all sorts of NSFW content without any restrictions, it's kind of stupid.

Still - their house, their rules. I'm not going to test my luck and FAFO here. But I'm gonna look for places that won't treat me like some sort of freak.

I have barely used this.

Every time I hear Tumblr being mentioned I can't help but think, it looks incredibly cool. However, it allegedly suffered a lot these last few years and it's barely a husk of its former self.

So what now?

Also, what the hell? Why is there a Tumblr Premium subscription option now?

If your shield is brighter than usual, it means it's in Initial Guard mode! A brief window of time where incoming damage and stagger are more effectively reduced. Some shields make it possible to greatly negate (if not entirely) any incoming damage and stagger, but the short IG window means you must be quick on the trigger to deploy it.

Discipline DH is modelled after the AC I used to run back in Armored Core 3 and Silent Line. Now I tried to remake it in Armored Core 6, and take on the whole game using the same build.
