Very happy to share the redrawing of this one, many, many years later.

While I don’t have many followers in this platform, allow me to share something I’ve been keeping on my mind for some time:

I felt very insecure at first as I didn’t feel that I could do better than the original (last picture). Sometimes I feel that I get very attached to the process and find it difficult to go back to a piece that costed me so much time and effort. And worst of all, I truly believe that I can’t do better. But I’m happy that I just detached a little bit and chose to keep going. Even if the result wasn’t going to be any better. I tried some new things with the hair, work my references better and experimented with layers and lights.

Yoruichi Shihōin, simply the best motivation.

This is a very old Yoruichi drawing I did many MANY years ago. When I did this, I was very proud of the results so this feels very challenging for me. I’d be great if you share this if you are a Bleach fan. I’ll keep you posted :)
