A nod accompanied with a positive hum. Yes, those days were saved as his most cherished memories. He could recall their last session of fun or hell- even their first playdate was still crystal clear.
Eugh. Cigarettes. As if the other didn’t already reek of nicotine, a fresh coat was always encouraged it seemed. It wasn’t like he was bothered by the scent of cigarettes, it was mostly because it was more difficult to keep his urges sated. A huff through his snout, frowning mildly. God, he missed his pipe.
”.. ah.” He? Sounds like he had stepped out of Scourge’s life a little longer than he thought. He had no memory of a ‘he'… certainly not someone who could make that specific hue of red warm up his face with the mere mention.
It was probably his lack of excitement in his own life, but now he was more curious than ever.
"Does ‘he' have a name?”
"Eh?" The cigarettes were still in his hand, but forgotten, as he was more concerned about the curious tone in Finitevus' voice. Not to mention the look on his face...wait...
Shit. He'd said too much. "Uh..." The pack of smokes was dropped back in his jacket pocket; this could get a little too intrusive. Didn't want to say a lot, since even though he had inquired to the nutcase's opinion on dress - still wondered why, ugh - that didn't exactly make them friends. Sure as hell didn't want him suddenly thinking he could creep in on them either; even if it had been a long time since he'd even had to think about Finitevus, he still recalled everything the echidna had done to him.
Still had the occasional nightmares about it too, waking up in cold sweats and needing to be eased back, reassured it was okay.
He could take care of himself, yet Scourge still fretted a bit. Sort of came with the whole territory of love and all that happy bullshit.
"...'s an older variant of mine. Tatted up, way more'n I am."
There. Hopefully that should appease him, at least for a while. Maybe. He hoped.
