nohara rin and tenten are my favorite characters. but more generally i like women and post mostly about them. i read naruto as a tragedy and like the ending for those reasons. #cycles show. i use non-canonical pronouns for a lot of characters because i have a true and discerning heart. i think sasuke was right but it's kind of like a background assumption to my posting rather than the focus. i don't like kakashi i just really really don't like him and i wish he was dead.

okay well like on the rin end of things it's like okayyy there's the baseline of how she interprets/narrativises her own actions vs how kkob do vs how the narrative does. and of course since the most relevant of this is her suicide this is really excellently transposed onto a modern au narrative of like her attempting suicide (or fine if you want to be committed and let her succeed then you would primarily look at how kkob understand the whole thing in the aftermath and how it shapes them plus their own experiences of psych which i am relegating to the next reblog) and having everyone basically misinterpret it, basically (in the tone of kill them with kindness) unperson her with sympathy, treat her like an insane danger to herself with low self-esteem and an inability to understand that/why she is loved. and like if you want to play with perfectgirl rin etc you basically make her actually start to lose her handle on this due to the degree that she would be denied autonomy. especially because like. i think of her as being quite paternalistic and saneist herself and thinking of herself in this scenario as unfairly and incorrectly maligned especially if she's comparing herself to obito (again, for another reblog). tl;dr give rin a diagnosis post suicide attempt and make her lose her shit about how inaccurate unhelpful and irrelevant it is make her be deprived of the lack of attention to her psyche that she could at least take refuge in and be scrutinized constantly make her go through the terror of having hysteria attributed to your behavior.

normative suicide: if you are killing yourself because you are saving someone,, if you, are, not saving someone but you have said you are killing yourself to save someone, you are saving someone. because you are normal.

evil suicide: it's so sad, because, you see, bad things happened to you and no one else ever you are the only soldier in this place who has suffered. and because of this you want to die, which you should not do, because think of how sad everyone will be, , but you can't understand this.

suicide that is not real: you understand what this will do to people and that's why you want to do it.

i think haku got to a certain age where she realized she was trans and wrestled with it in her head for a little bit. and eventually she’s in some inn somewhere with zabuza while he polishes his gigantic fuck-you sword (not a euphemism) and haku’s like zabuza 👉👈 i wanna be a girl. and zabuza doesn’t look up doesn’t pause he just goes will being a girl interfere with your training and haku is like no and zabuza’s like okay whatever go ahead then. and haku is so relieved she starts crying which zabuza also doesn’t notice. and he completely forgets about the conversation until haku starts wearing skirts and then after a few years he forgets that haku was ever a boy bc in his head Child Weapon was a genderless category anyway. he just doesn’t gaf so hard that he stumbles into accidental allyship.

Since Karin’s sensory is really good + she’s at death door I thought wouldn’t it be cool if she saw Rin ?! So originally, it was supposed to be with Obito instead of Kakashi that Karin saw Rin BUT Karin was relatively healthy when Obito was around and and I thought it would a nicer touch if Rin became spiritually attached to the person who killed her 🥰
