This is Cosmic Postcard, a 16 year old retired Thoroughbred broodmare. Auction Horses Rescue has been trying to help this mare find retirement for a long time. WELL GUESS WHAT? The stars finally aligned for Miss Cosmic and at the lot we FOUND HER! And one of our longtimefoster/adopters (and mom to Secret Auntie!) has offered to make room to retire her so she won't have to ship!

Sumo (1996) is a handsome white gelding available for adoption to a loving forever home where he can be doted on and enjoy very light riding. Sumo is a former racehorse and track pony we obtained in the fall of 2013.  He does have melanomas, some of which have been removed.  Although he does not have a lot of formal training, he does have experience as a track pony and also as a family trail horse and is suitable for a family with children who are experienced at taking care of horses.  If you are interested in adopting Sumo, please fill out an Adoption Application and we will contact you about providing a home for this lovely horse.  Sumo is located in Apple Valley.
