Life is Strange is such an interesting franchise because i do believe its future relies so heavily on fan service that any deviance is met with such animosity and i think the most obvious example is the difference in reaction between double exposure and reunion. I’m pretty early on in reunion but the fact it’s so heavily focused on chloe and max that it completely disregards Amanda and Vihn is so disappointing. I didn’t think it was perfect but i enjoyed double exposure and romanced amanda and i was hoping for more of that but instead i get the pricefield show. chloe is a great character and i think her dynamic with max is really interesting but i would have at least liked to have the option to continue exploring max’s relationship with amanda. chloe and max’s relationship still could have been the core of the narrative without ignoring the people who like amanda or vihn.
if i keep playing and turn out to be wrong i’ll gladly admit to it but for now most of my excitement for this game has dwindled but hey congrats on getting your favourite girls back guys. love that for you
