What I think ruins the meaning of "I love you"
Not including the “I”
including the “too” when you’re saying it back
When someone says “love you” I see no meaning in those words. It’s an incomplete statement. If you really meant that, you’d indicate yourself in that statement by saying “I love you”
When someone says “I love you” and the other person replies, “I love you too,” it kind of ruins the meaning of their reply. Usually, when you add the word, “too” it’s like you love them equally, when you really should love them more. They might love you more. But if you both love each other more than each other, you really just love each other more and more each time you say it.
When I say “I love you,” I say it because I mean it. And I mean it because it’s true. And when I really dooo mean it, “I love you more” is something more meaningful than just a plain “I love you.” Plus their name.
Love is so important. And so many people are beginning to take it for granted. Find a way to express this love more and more each day. Making it different so it never loses its meaning.
