I went to check on my furbabies that were having fun outside today and I couldn’t find Remy! I called out for him, he comes out from behind the Shed. He’s galloping towards me,grinning, tongue flopping around side to side. He’s just really happy. I think “aww he’s so cute!” Remy gets about 5 feet from me....I smell something... rotten.. it’s awful! I have #supernatural, hyped up, migraine senses” today due to waking up with a horrible headache. I’m trying really hard not to breathe in this nasty, rank, putrid smell now flowing off my dog in waves. I know he needs a bath. I sigh, home alone I tell him to follow me to the bathroom and he does. I shut the door, I’m guiding him to the tub... he freaks! I’m lifting, trying to push his rear, grunting during my failed attempts, he’s not having it! He’s spread his front legs straight out in front of him avoiding the tub! I lift his front non bending legs into the tub. He then began to push back, Butterfly his back legs, sitting, he’s pushing his back paws against the tub. I’ve got this smell all over me, I’m gagging, trying not to vomit! Struggling with this insanely strong, long legged dog that just became Heavy stone weight! Nope. He is just not budging. Not even a little. Pure 130lbs of solid Boxer/Pit muscle,pushes himself with all his strength away from the tub! He eventually decides to switch directions, now heading towards the door. I try another attempt by lifting the back part of his body first, then walk him into the tub. It finally works! Success!! He’s in! I’m exhausted... Trying so hard not to breathe in this horrific smell that is now in my hair, that had by then, fallen in my face.😷 I begin to wash him... Olivia walked in from practice, she hears me talking to Remy and opens the door, she said, “Oh wow!”(smelling him) "Mom let me do this.”She starts to wash him #blessed I let her. I’m weak... Happy I can shower soon! Dillon finds a dead mole behind the shed. It could have been the source of the smell?!
