we had to put my cat down yesterday, and my sister made the most beautiful video in honor of him. He got me through so many hard times and grew up with me. i really don’t know what I’m going to do without him. i honestly will never get how people can say that they aren’t cat people. my response was always that they hadnt met my max.

The saddest thing to lose are people. The hardest thing to reedeem are the memories and events that tie you to them.

Hello friends! I am fortunate enough to be able to serve in Mexico in Ensenada this Spring Break with my school. The team I am on will be building a house for a couple that lost theirs in a fire. The trip is $300, which is not too bad, but unfortunately my parents are making me raise all the money on my own. I need to raise the money by this Friday (eek!) I would suggest staying close to Christ through out all your life, listen to his voice as he guides you and find ways to see the good in all of humanity. See every relationship and job as an opportunity to grow. Stay humble and remain teachable, even by those you despise. Surrender your pride and selfhood as much as you can so that maybe you are given the gift to simply help another human being. Maybe an entire job, an entire film project was created so that one human being on set could experience the love of the father through you. Keep it simple.

Yesterday my boyfriend was so hungry and he started talking about pizza then his eyes filled with tears. I asked him why and he said “it’s just so delicious.”

It was a beautiful moment shared between me, him, and pizza.
