My Excellent Adventure – Thailand After a short trip home I am now embarking on my second leg of travelling Asia. I have been recapping the past 6 months by putting together pictures/videos and texts about my travels in preparation for the next 6 months.
Luang Prabang is the ancient capital of northern Laos and was also the royal capital of the country until 1975. It lies in a valley at the confluence of the Mekong and Nam Khan rivers which creates a spectacular cultivation of waterfalls and caves #laos #luangprabang #waterfalls (at Luang Prabang)
There are no bigger inspirations than our parents! I couldn't admire my dad any more for his recent characteristic words in our local paper. A man that has seen more of the world than I ever will #BigSean (at County Tyrone)
Even with all the travel experience I have gained I was completely bewildered when first arriving in the city of #yangon. Diligent, dangersome, dramatic, #Myanmar's largest city was an intense pressure cooker of daily excitement and local encounters. I was dazzled by the golden shine of the Shwedagon Paya, the country's most important Buddhist temple, and the buzz of a newly energised and fast-reviving Yangon created the most authentically Asian city I have come across #myanmar #yangon #shwedagonpagoda (at Yangon)
