France-based artist David Keochkerian has been practicing photography for the last three years. A science at heart, Keochkerian has a PHD in human physiology, but has shifted some of his energy to becoming an artist. Through his newly found passion of photography, Keochkerian’s unique perspective is expressed through the fleeting and subtle moments he captures on lens. The high contrast of his images reveal a deeper and more urgent stance on landscape photography. Although Keochkerian’s images are aesthetically pleasing, they are also moving.

The robotic crawlers posses an intriguing quality, which unites life and machinery. Their long, thin metallic legs, fragile wings and and clicking noise compose the perfect scenario for a science fiction horror film.
